Harry Belafonte's „Island in the sun“ was a universal hit back in the 1960s. lt is a hymn to the sun, the turquoise sea, the fine sand beaches, the rainforest, steel band rhythms and the easygoing life in the Caribbean. In other words it sings the praises of the lavish beauty of Grenada in the south of the heavenly Grenadines.
